he's free he plays Chinese chess with another man. There is always a
man to play chess with here. Once the hair cutter in the cubbyhole on
the sidewalk was playing chess and wouldn't cut my hair. Another time
I saw several guys watching the bike repairman and another guy plating
chess. One guy stopped by on the home on his motorbike to watch the
game- with his daughter on the back still in her school uniform. I
guess he had picked her up from school. She looked bored out her mind.
Game boards are usually recycled something or other. They draw lines
on the board and buy the pieces.
