Ant proof storage

Ants get into everything here. Everything. The only way to keep em out
is to partially fill something with water like this bowl and then put
in a cup for example surrounded by the water. On top of that you put
your item for safekeeping like my leftover bread. No ant will even
attempt to swim across that lake. Although some may try, as I've seen
lots of dead ants in cups of water after sitting a while. I wonder if
the water is sweetened here.
